Sorry the newsletter is a little late out this week, its all go at this end ready for a fun packed weekend. Just in case you missed it Unfettered are hosting KinkFest4 at Conway Hall on the Saturday of workshops and stage performances. The LAM community desk will be there along with a little LAM stall that may be turned into a podcast studio in the afternoon. If you have not experienced KinkFest yet then I would strongly suggest you come along on Saturday, it really is a unique event; they are also the supported cause on the Sunday.

This month’s new stall is Harlots and Angels corsetry creators of high quality handmade corsets made in the UK and available in small to plus sizes. We are also welcoming back Chopper from Spanking Tools who after a short break is back with new toys and creations.

The official schedule for the day is:

11am— Doors open.
12:30pm— LAM workshop due diligence for deviants ways of keeping safe while having fun
2pm— The stage demo will be some edgy with Master Cosmic and AndrexPuppy
4pm –LAM draws including, £25 for the best dressed guest as well as the usual 2 entry draws of £25

We have been asked to put together a needle play check list for when people are playing at home or in clubs. If we can eek out a few extra hours over the next few days this will be available from the front desk. It provides a check list to ensure that play is conducted to a high safety standard as well as providing an amusing memento of the session.

The after party is again in the same Battersea venue and proves a perfect chance to relax and play out the last hours of the weekend as well as a perfect way to test out any new purchases. Tickets will again be available from the front desk and the bar area on the ground floor.

Next month we will be moving home for the month and expanding the event just a little to create the LAM Skin Two special, a two day version of the LAM to celebrate the Rubber Ball weekend 2008. We will be joined by a range of new stalls, some coming from very far a field to join us. The line up will include two fashion shows, for stage performances, six PowerPoint based workshops, AntiChrist clubbing lounge and special international guests such as Chanta Rose the author of Bondage for Sex Vol1 and many of the most devious websites on the face of the planet.

The Rubber Ball weekend is one of the few occasions each year where members of the international fetish community flock to London to party in the city that boasts more monthly fetish events than anywhere else on the face of the planet, suffice to say it is a unique atmosphere. We have it from a reliable source that the dungeon year will be a provided by some good friends of the LAM and should provide a different atmosphere to play with familiar kit.

The LAM Skin Two special has appointed the Spanner Trust as our supported cause for the weekend and we have been stockpiling and strong arming raffle prizes from magazine and books to a box full of various toys and accessories. Please help in support the trusts work to clarify the legal status of SM activities in the UK and assisting those that find themselves under unnecessarily pressure for their consensual activities.
