Dear subscribers,

With only a few days left until the next London Alternative Market, we are busy putting the finishing touches to the event. This time we have made a few changes to the stage area to open up more room on the ground floor. The food has also been moved to the gallery level so that you can relax amongst the artists and photographers displays while you eat.

Last month the workshop proved so popular that we have moved its location slightly to take advantage of the tiered seating to make sure you can all get a good view of the demonstrations.

Yet again we have a packed schedule for you:

At 12:30pm there will be the second LAM workshop; this time on the subject of flogging given by Vicky of Freak Clubwear (which is included in the price of admission, and will include a hand-out). The workshop will illustrate the different types of floggers and the different sensations that can be created.
At 2pm The Great Voltini will be entertaining us with his amazing high voltage stage show; some of you may recall this from his appearance on the Graham Norton show. Although it’s not the kind of thing that many of us could get up to at home we felt it would add a certain electrifying twist to the day so make sure you get a good seat for this one.
At some stage during the day we will have a special guest appearance from Chanta Rose to mark the launch of her new book Bondage for Sex Volume I. In conjunction with our book stall Raison D’Etre, she will be signing copies of the new book; from the pages we have seen it's definitely going to become the new must have rope bondage text and has certainly enhanced our enjoyment of rope bondage. It is also worth noting that she will be giving two workshops in London on 10 June in association with our friends at JuSTrope.

The running order of the event will be as follows:

11am - doors open to public
12:30pm - workshop starts
2pm - play demo on stage; The Great Voltini doing his amazing high voltage stage show.
4pm - Speech given by our sponsored cause for June, The Outsiders.
6pm - LAM closes

After the launch of the LAM after-market party last month we look forward to the next instalment; it's always nice to see the Sweet Torments kit outside of its usual location and the party is certainly proving to be a hit with those eager to test out their new purchases.

We look forward to seeing you both on this coming Sunday 4th June and at next month's event (Sunday 2nd July 2006), where the supported cause will be Unfettered. They will be announcing the raffle prizes in due course.
